How To Apply False Eyelashes

How To Apply Fake Eyelashes Yourself

So have you ever spent hours in front of the mirror trying to apply fake eyelashes but only end up with them sticking out in angles or worse, they just fall out completely? Well you’re not the only one here, many people out there are having difficulties trying to apply fake eyelashes on themselves so don’t worry about it. Let’s get started on this tutorial!

1. Before you do anything else, measure the length of the fake eyelashes first to make sure it will fit your eye shape. if a certain strip is to be cut to fit your eyes snipped out edge completely off with small nail scissors; this will help avoid any drooping at the corner high and out won’t poke you eyes.

2. Take both the edges of the fake eye lashes and then inward to create a C-shape like form and hold it for a couple seconds. That’s the best way to take any straightness out and help ensure to fit in your eye shape. This step will help make the process effortless and easy.

3. Start by applying a high-quality glue such as duo eyelash adhesive for best long-lasting results. If you have a steady hand, you can simply squeeze straight out from the tube onto the fake eyelash strip. If you have a shaky hand, here’s an easy trick: put glue on the reverse handle of the tweezer and slowly glided across the strip.

4. Wait 10 seconds for the glue to be more sticky; you can also just blow away or even just wave it gently in the air before placing the eyelash on. This step is the perfect way to keep the strip from slipping around when you’re trying to line up on your real eyelash.

5. Now take a fake eyelash and aim for the base of your natural lash line, top of your real eyelashes, and not touching the eyelid at all. The glue dries clear so you don’t need to worry if it gets on your skin.

6. Once you’re done with placing both eyelashes on your eyelash, you’re able to use your mascara; this will help making your eyelashes look more natural so no one will notice.

7. If you see a small gap shown on the eyelid between your real lashes and the fake ones don’t worry about it. You will have to pull it off and start all over again. Just fill in the gap by using a matte black eye shadow and an eye liner to hide it. This step will help the glue to dry more quickly.

How To Remove Fake Eyelashes

When you’re trying to remove false eyelashes, always take it off with the rest of your eye makeup. The first step you have to do is softened the gloom of a cotton swab that has been soaked in an oily makeup remover product. After your done, dab the swab along the lash line to loosen the glue up to break down the stickiness. With your eye open, take the lash at the top of the outer corner. After you close your eyes, very slowly peel the fake eyelash stripd away from your eye lash line working from the outer to the inner corner of your eye towards the nose.
